I’ve been designing graphics and websites since 1999. Over the past twenty-five years, I’ve watched the internet change many times, but one thing has remained constant. Good design is not just about tools. It’s about judgment, taste, and understanding how people think, feel, and move through information.

My background spans brand identity design, print and digital publications, custom websites, client portals, and full digital ecosystems. I work with business owners who want their brand to reflect where they are going, not just where they’ve been, and who care deeply about how their business shows up in the world.

In 2017, my web design work received industry recognition from a WordPress and Joomla site-building platform. That recognition reflects something I’ve always believed: design works best when creativity and clarity are held in equal measure.

I’ve also built and run multiple businesses of my own. Because of that, I understand the weight business owners carry. I know what it’s like to juggle decisions, systems, clients, and vision all at once, and to need a brand and website that create ease instead of more work. That perspective shapes every project I take on. I don’t design in isolation. I design with your reality in mind.

Creativity, to me, is emotional. The goal of design is not to impress an algorithm or follow a formula. It is to create a feeling. Trust. Confidence. Calm. Recognition. AI can assemble pages, but it cannot make emotional judgments or design for nuance. That human layer is where my work lives.

Why Flutterby

Flutterby comes from a childhood story I loved about a small winged horse searching for its true purpose. I’ve always carried the quiet courage in that story, the belief that becoming who you’re meant to be is its own kind of magic.
